new moon and other stuff

Photobucket

Dude. I love this picture. We look so eager. It was inadvertent, however, as we were taken by surprise by the sudden camera flash, but let's not kid ourselves. We were eager.

So the movie came out a day early here in Mexico. The drug cartels probably pulled a few strings for their teenage daughters and we went and watched the 5pm showing yesterday. What did I think of it? Well, let me tell you. I think it was ten times better than the last one, though I still feel there was entirely too much open mouth breathing, general awkwardness and the vampires still aren't pretty to me. Jacob, on the other hand, stole the show. For me, he was the most believable in his role. Everyone else distracted me with their, well... open mouth breathing and general awkwardness.

Vampire/werewolf shenanigans aside. Guess where I'm going tomorrow! Sweet love, I'm headed to the homeland. In just a little while, I'll be breathing cleaner air, caressing Target shelves and eating Life cereal. If we don't meet in cyberspace before then, happy Thanksgiving, friends! xoxo.

I just finished my new moon post myself! I'm glad you got to go to the movie at a reasonable hour. Thank you thank you for giving Jacob some love, I'm a bit of a fan, mmm, those abs...what? I was thinking about my husband's abs who were you thinking of? :)

But I agree, some of the vampires just aren't pretty enough (ahem edward) and I did feel so awkward watching edward and bella, open mouth breathing? It was panting and it sicked me out. But their white makeup was much much better this time, I'll give them that.

oooo! so glad to hear it better than the first. That a good way to put it "distracted by their akwardness." I can't wait to go see it!

I'm glad to hear you thought it was a lot better than the first one. I loved the books, but can't really say I'm a fan of the first movie. Not sure when we'll get to see New Moon, but hopefully soon. Have a great trip!

I seriously cannot believe you put this picture of me up in cyberspace. Wow, how awful do I look. Anyway...looking past that. Thanks for such a great time. I LOVE to read your reviews of things.

Oh, and caress some Target shelves for me. I got to go there for about 15 minutes before my children were screaming and throwing tantrums. Needless to say, I was about to throw a tantrum myself because I had to leave Target. Have fun!

Thank you thank you! FINALLY someone who agrees with me! My opinion = if you're going to have all that open mouth breathing and bad acting they might as well be dumb supermodels and at least LOOK the part. Now, I haven't seen New Moon yet, so this is just based on my Twilight exposure.

And YOU look the most eagar by far! Sorry, had to be said. BUT, you're cute eagar, like on Christmas morning eagar.

What a bunch of hot mama's!

I have been wondering why Mexico got the movie a day early... your theory is a good one! =)

Also, Annie, wipe your drool and just come visit us. I am sure we can hit up the VIP with you lots and lots.

Noelle, have fun in the USA! But hurry back... my body needs your bodyflow. Does that sound wierd? =)

i heart jacob. he's awesome. i think i liked the movie so much more b/c edward was hardly in it. i laughed a lot, sometimes b/c of the awkwardness of it all. but it was a million times better than twilight (not hard to beat though!)
