These were dear friend Josh's words to us in an email tonight as he sent one "teaser pic" (if you will) from an attempt at family pictures this afternoon. Josh is a good man to take out one hour of his busiest work week yet in order to take a few (hundred) pics of this motley bunch of scallywags. Feel bad for him. As you can see, it was a hopeless affair.
Horrors abound in this photo. From Bruce's glaringly offensive white ankle socks to the ginormous boot soles out of nowhere that suggest this family may have actually been the ones to kill the Wicked Witch of the East.
And please. Don't even get me started on B.

Oh, Noelle. I feel your pain. I think anyone who has tried family pictures with small children can relate. Yet I can't help giggling too. You gotta love B. :-)
I crack up every time I see this picture. When Josh showed it to me last night...rolling I tell ya. Oh, how this little family warms my heart though. I seriously love you guys.

and that bryson face... man, it just looks/feels way too familiar.
in fact, i just had to go through some old pics for some church activity this week, and i stumbled across this picture of tracy, me, and other girlfriends. it could've been a keeper--one for the frames, even!!--nice restaurant, nice clothes, all of us are smiling so pretty... EXCEPT for the fact that tracy's eyes are crossed. and so are mine.
