The ones that make you grateful for motherhood and somehow cancel out the 50 other things they did that day that made you want to rip your hair out, lie prostrate on the ground and light their toys on fire.
And I say you and not me, because I would never own such insanity. And also, M looks like an orphan with her orphan hair, but doesn't it feel better than a hairspray-crusty ponytail? Perfection is overrated.

perfection is overrated. I couldn't have put it better myself...AND right before I read that part I was thinking how much I love M's hair. Seriously love. She looks independent and free spirited...two of my favorite things for little people to be.
i love M's rockin' look. you should just add some blue or hot pink streaks. you know she would love it.
big brother reading is a sweet moment. last night we built a little fire and liam read to the family. bliss. (in my personal opinion, if i gave my kids allowance that's what it would be for, not chores!)
I'm glad they love books. When we love books, music, art, and walks, we'll never get bored in life. And they're free.
So precious!
