On this day, I got pooped on by a pigeon. Now, if you know me, you know that I have a serious bird phobia. And this is the ultimate in heinous for me. I went psychedelic with the wet ones and antibacterial gel. Later in the day, we decided to take a sketchy, squeaky tram up to a viewpoint where we could see the whole city of Guanajuato down below while trying not to imagine the last possible time that elevator-sized mode of transport had been serviced. The view was beautiful, though.

And the view was the only beautiful thing that day. Here is our super-ugh and obligatory group photo. That would be total exhaustion on mine and my kids' faces. Even L who is my consistent smiler was not his usual peppy self.

And these... what are these? I can never remember the name. These were bought for M to keep her quiet for the ride home.

uhm, yeah i will probably have nightmares from the mummies and have opted not to show those pictures to my kids. however, i love all your pictures in mexico. you make me really want to go there. what a fun experience!
I just saw an episode of Dirty Jobs where he cleaned up pigeon poop. It said there are 60 diseases you could get from pigeon poop! So your paranoia was founded.
Oh, I feel your pain. I got pooped on by a bird on the riverpath and it was all I could do to keep myself from jumping into the nasty river just to get the squishy, runny bird fecal matter off my hand. I still get the creeps thinking about it.
Speaking of the creeps...I thought the mummy museum sounded fun until I saw your picks. Couldn't even read the entry because they were surrounded by pics.
