I am the most unfashionable person I know (as evidenced by the Athleta gear that fills up 2/3 of my closet and drawer space). But I am dying to see this. Of course it will never come to Mexico. Can someone watch this documentary for me already and give me all the deets? Anna Wintour is so frightening.

looks good huh? no worries, i'll watch it for you... speaking of movies, i can't believe you liked the time travelers wife. maybe it's because i read the book but is seemed short, broken up, and layerless (is that a word?)

Three Cups of Tea is an inspiring book, something different.
a bunch of hermanas from my ward saw it last night, but i wasn't able to go. when i do see it, i'll carry a little noe in my heart and return with a full report for you.
We were mad at Erin for not coming. Some nonsense about a never-sleeping toddler. Whatever.
The movie was fine. Not especially entertaining. Not funny. No real "plot" so to speak of. Sort of interesting, & a bit crazy to see how scary AW is (people literally jump out of her way). But I wouldn't have sad feelings because you can't see it quite yet.
i'm with you, shauna, as far as the time traveler's wife. her role was predictably the passionate lover, like in the notebook, and he was blah. he felt dirty, greasy haired, and awkward the whole movie, not endearing. and the ambience of the movie was cold, wet, pale-skin, dark wood, dark furniture, dark clothes, etc. which i'm assuming was the point, since it was partly about his lonely, nakedifying gift/curse. but with that kind of atmosphere, it doesn't make you want to be there all the time. you know what i mean? anyways. i don't know why i'm bothering to write all this down. it just flows right thru my fingertips sometimes... babble...sorry : } xoxo.
oh and layerless was a perfect way to describe it, shauna. the time traveler's wife, that is. and i can't believe the way he died. are you kidding me? ANYwayzzzz.
