Is it May 15th? Is it really May 15th?

When I left my computer up for a time today, I came back to find that someone had googled "nintendo ds", "nintendo ds games" and "transformers ds games."

Photobucket

L and I had a remarkable conversation today. A conversation about eating good foods that will help us grow big and strong. An actual face-to-face, eyes-on-me, two-way conversation without sound effects, made-up words or him insisting I call him "girl dragon." Progress.

M has had no accidents for a week now (*knock on wood*). Girls really are easier to potty train. L still gets on the toilet backwards. Is this symbolic?

I took B to the emergency room this morning, because he was fine all morning until just before we were to leave for school. And then he dropped to the ground, screaming and writhing in pain for a good half-hour. My first thought was appendicitis. By the time we arrived at the hospital, his pain had disappeared. As an extra precaution, the doctor had him x-rayed. Tonight the doctor called to tell me there didn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary except a very full tummy. So it was just gas? Excellent. A well-spent $200 and three hours at the hospital.

My maid asked me to have a fourth baby today. My maid. "Yo quiero muchissimo sus ninos," she also said. Roughly translated, "I love your children." Literally translated, "I want your children very much." Let's hope she didn't mean it literally with a "to take" sandwiched between the lines.

Bruce is on a plane back from Brazil tonight. Can't wait. We're all so glad when Daddy comes home.

i really hate when jarom is gone. its stinks being "alone."

after 5 years of spanish (i shouldn't admit that b/c i really stink at it) i could still never get the interchange between querer and amor. there's just something about "want" being used as "love." it definitely takes it to a different level! my friend from HS use to where the imitation taco bell shirt and it said "Yo Quiero Jesus Christ." So not right!

I have taken Andrew and Mike to the ER for gas too. Totally felt stupid. Good thing we had medicaid. I also have taken Andrew for two false alarm broken bones. We are much more cautious about our trips to the ER now.

Oh man . . . I almost took Charlie to the ER the other week over the same thing. But, it's a good thing you took him . . . it's hard to tell a difference! My parents thought Ethan was totally faking them out, then when they finally took him to the ER, they found out that his appendix almost ruptured. It's better to know, right? Although, I hate feeling stupid at the doctor!

Your husband came home from Brazil yeaterday and I just said good bye to my sister's husband who is off (once again) to Brazil. Do you know how lucky those guys are? I love Brazil and would move back in a heartbeat. I'm only familiar with Brasilia and Rio but heck, I'd take Portuguese over Spanish any day.

I'm thinking L needs to come over and borrow some DS games when we get back. I've got 2 pokemon junkies myself.

Glad B was ok but you were right to take him in. You never know!
