My special skills and talents: crawling into inappropriate places; cruising across furniture; swallowing small pieces of plastic, lint and other dirt at lightning speeds; screaming like a banshee.
What I Like: singing "Itsy, Bitsy Spider"; participating in various bathroom activities, such as toothbrushing, bathtime, and sucking on stray pieces of toilet paper; stealing cars from my brothers; eating the white rubber tops off door stoppers; screaming like a banshee.
What I Don't like: getting my diaper changed; being left alone in a room; getting hit in the face; being used as a crash landing pad; listening to someone else scream like a banshee.
Side note from Mama: There has been an illegal amount of pink in our home since this child's birth.

Traditionally, Mom has made a lemon cake for each of the kids for their first birthday--or at least that's what she'll tell Luke... even if it was only theoretically for his first birthday... (In my defense, I want to remind you all that his birthday is right after Christmas, so can you blame me for forgetting? Someone should send me some kind of reminder email this year.)

Noelle, it will always be easy to remember a girls birthday...because they are so much fun. Happy Birthday Makenna... I hope you meet you one day.
I can't believe that she is one already! How time flies! She is adorable.
