These two are about to become parents... They have no idea what's coming to them, do they? Mwah-ha-ha-ha-ha. And I'm so excited. Aren't you excited to see what their baby is going to look like? I am. There will be another Elizan/Bryant girl in the world walking around with chromosomes from my side of the gene pool. She will likely be as passionate and dramatic as the rest of us... especially with this girl as her mommy.
Audrey is due in a few weeks' time--sometime around the new moon. She's also dilated 2 cm and fantasizing about lying flat on her tummy. I'll be going to Boston to hold my brand new niece at the end of this month!
Oh, and one last thing. One of the Relief Society sisters in their ward had all the guys email secretly some info about their wives to be used for weekly spotlights. One Sunday, she began reading the spotlight, and as soon as Aud heard the first sentence... haha. Here's what Andy had responded about my lovely sister:
"She gets caught in the moment and often says in perplexment, 'Am I really here? Am I really alive?' She served a mission in Argentina, but was hoping to go to Africa; she loved the people anyway. Still dreams of Morocco, Israel, and any country full of bright colors. Has a thing for blurry lines, white linens, and dragonflies. Our
shelves are full of literature, an English major from BYU, she is a poetic writer who pens short stories full of moisture. We met by chance, and then (because I had to return to California) fell in love through written correspondence. She is brilliant, illuminating, beautiful, and I adore her."
So if you know my family, or you know Audrey, you know why Andy is her perfect match. They will be fascinating parents.

I am excited for Audrey. Derek and I might be up in Boston in July, so hopefully we will see the new baby girl! I might be coming to Houston this summer to see some friends and look around. Derek might join me if he is not busy with school (cross your fingers). I hope you are all around. Does Audrey have a blog? Derek and I love looking at yours and keeping up with everyone. I can't belive Luke left a steamy surpise on the front lawn. We both had a good laugh.
oh noey... : )
when you visit, we can both soar onto the bed and land face first... free... mmm that sounds so so SOO delicious.
and we can jump up quickly from the couch without coddling our hips, or run down the hall without a trace of waddle... yayyy--what does it feel like to be belly free, I can't remember!!!
and as far as letting loose another elizan-bryant girl... i don't know if that's necessarily a POSITIVE thing!!! hopefully andy can throw a bit of common sense into the gene pool...
