i'm so sad

Nate left early this morning. I've been so bummed out all day. I've also been on the verge of passing out from sleep deprivation, because I didn't sleep a wink last night. I was experiencing serious anxiety through the night over him missing his 5:15 a.m. taxi pick-up and checked the clock about every ten minutes. Not restful.

NATE! I miss you already. Pretty much teared up instantly as the taxi pulled away. Did you notice?

Also, Nate, the boys have been playing ninja-hunter-bear (Nate's version of rock-paper-scissors) all day today. And B's been coaching L on the finer points of joke telling: "You say, 'I saw a spider.' Then you wait for me to say, 'Really? Where?' Then you say, 'Just kidding!' Got it?"

M has also been wandering around saying, "Where Un-ca Nate? Un-ca Nate! UN-CAAA NAAAAATE!!!"

So sad. I love you dearly, little brother. It's been a perfect month.

I'm sorry he had to leave! The thought of nate makes me smile, still remember him when he was 3/4 and would jump all over the place pretending he was a ninja. Wait does he still do that? Some how I'm thinking........yes.

How could you NOT love Nate? Haven't seen him in years, yet I still feel like he's my little brother.
Love the new blog header. How can one family have so many talents? I'm sure Dr Phil would say it's because he's so devilishly handsome and Melissa would say, "When ya got it, ya got it."

I love the imagery of your boys teaching each other how to tell jokes. Kids are too funny!

Ah man. I only hung out with him a few times, but I kind of got used to him being a fixture with you guys. Sad for you too. It is so fun to have people visit, but does pretty much suck when they leave! Good luck adjusting!
