I'm too lazy right now to explain or organize and edit these pictures properly. And also I need to go to the grocery store as we are dangerously low on milk. But all you need to know is that Bruce's dad came to visit us this weekend (very fun!) and we went to Tasco on Saturday. In a throwback to Aztec times, various cities and pueblas surrounding Mexico City are known for different types of wares, such as talavera pottery or onyx or wood. Tasco is a city located on the side of a mountain and home to silver mines. A place where you will find very beautiful silver located in markets situated along its streets for a minimal amount of pesos. Tan fabulosa!
And also, these Mexican catholic churches scare me a little. All the heads...

Oh, I love this city and definitely need to get back there before we move. I would LOVE to do a girls saturday sans children there. Without having to keep track of our kids just think about how much damage we could do with all of the awesome shops there! Muy divertido mi amiga.

I think I'm pretty clueless- I always thought it was "taxco." Like where you do your taxes.
And you didn't mention how much you love the creepy little naked people all over the Catholic churches.
it really is taxco. you are right, ang. post-edit...
That's hilarious! I seriously thought to myself, "it's a good thing I've never had to write it on anything important!" Hey- I guess it's nice to actually spell something right in Spanish every once in a while. I think I'll go dish myself up a bowl of ice cream and pat myself on the back.
uhm, i'm purchasing a ticket and coming pronto. you have such fun adventures. i want to be there. got room for a family of 5?
also, the pics of the stairs with the tiles, beautiful orange-toned bricks and blue sky. awesome pic. inspiring color palette.
I want to go THERE! Please pencil it into my agenda for the spring. Don't forget the food. Always food. BUT, I will rely heavily on you to ensure that I eat to lengua (sp?) menudo (sp) or various other organs. Gracias.
