limbo, gimme a sec

I'm exhausted, my feet are on fire, and the sciatica is flaring up. Moving is such a beast. Especially when I'm married to such a s.d.n.f. (slave driving neat freak). He can't stand a single packed box lying around, so we moved into our new place Friday night and were totally unpacked by Saturday afternoon. The man is out of control.

I'd like to upload pics of our new place onto my computer, but my hard drive is currently full (this happens frequently when you take 1,000 pics every trip), and I'm bogged down in deletion mode. The more I say no, the easier it is to let go. Fifteen different angles of M eating her morning breakfast cereal do seem a tad superabundant.

Though I did come across this little gem. I think L is about 18 months old here. Note the bib. Three years later, we've outgrown the bib. Sadly, we have not outgrown the accompanying drool. Chubby babes are the bomb.

Photobucket

Isn't it amazing how like themselves they look already at such a young age? Or maybe only certain people will understand this sort of thought process.

Anyway, I'm starting to recover, so give me a bit and I'll get back to you, blog world. C'est la vie.

Didn't you make fun of me when I took all those photos of M doing exactly the same thing? It's also hard to delete. Look how many photos Aud takes of Belen.

Our Luke is precious.

Thank goodness we have spouses that get things done. We'd still be photographing, writing, and contemplating about it.

So glad you got moved in. You are so good for keeping everything so nice for Bruce. If Paul were like that, I'd be fired by now. =)
Let me know when you are just sitting at Brooke's for a second - I want to stop by and say hi!

it's true... the delete button is a hot one. except i HAVE noticed that if i give the set of photos a month after uploading them to my computer, THEN i can go thru and delete ruthlessly. you know, a little removed from the moment : ) like the gazillion pix we took of B when she was just rolling around, an uncrawling blob?? they finally seem repetitive whereas before i needed every facial expression. ha.

alas, she IS the first child. we'll see if it continues... like mom, you hardly have any pix of nate!!! poor child number 5.

i love this picture of luke, and i remember it too. he DOES look so like himself here. how did we miss it?? you always look back and wonder how you couldn't already see exactly what he would look like at four, eight, eleven, twenty two... you know what i mean? of course you know what i mean...

rest your feet. slave driver has to go back to work eventually, right??
