From kindergarten. These people go all out. You should've seen the party afterward. B's favorite parts: soccer game with the dads and the "memory book" some of the moms put together. Paid $30 for it. B better be looking at it 24/7.
Congrats to B! I think that's the first time I've seen caps AND gowns for a kinder graduation. And an entire yearbook just for kindergarten - wow. Looks like it was a fun party!
first of all, congratulations, bryson!!!!!!!!!!!! you are so handsome and bright and good, and i'm so excited to watch you grow up.
i LOVE the fourth picture down, the upclose shot of him, smiling big in his gown, while in line. beautiful, happy boy. such goodlooking kids you've got, noey.
i also love that makenna look. whew! watch out...
and seeing lukie and his familiar little body, in that long string of kids on stage.... (he looks good in orange too).
and the two pictures, of course, of bruce and b and of you and b. it's shots like those where you actually say pregnancy, labor, and all the spills and tantrums along the way were so worth it, you know what i mean? for a brief second, you forget it all, and you snuggle closer to that good feeling... cheese, but it's true; it makes me so happy to see these pictures.
and last of all, i LOVE "here comes the sun"... that song will always hit a spot for me : ) it inevitably evokes a feeling of the good ole days, even if you can't think of any days in particular : ) though i can; remember nancy vessels? she would always make dandelion crowns and braid them in our long hair, sitting in the grass. she and i went thru a serious beatles phase... ha.
i think some people's high school graduation may not rival this one...way to go B. btw these pictures aren't really holding true to the stereotypical slum yard schools i had thought of in Mexico...is this like one of those rich american type private schools:) love ya
Did you know they don't do kindergarten graduations here because they think it detracts the children from aiming for a high school graduation! I thought that was pretty hilarious! Go B! I hope we all get to get together while you're here!
He looks so grown up in that cap and gown!!!! I still can't believe you have a child old enough to even graduate kindergarten- I still feel like we're 14!
