Though they did play this one definitely-made-in-Mexico introductory video that tried to showcase time going backwards - including a 5-second rewind of a baby birth. Full frontal view of baby going back in mom. Huh. It unsettled me in context of the twenty-five 6-year-olds also watching, but maybe that's just my conservative American ethos talking.
My thoughts exactly, B.

When we first drove up to the museum, there was a large pile of trash on the sidewalk to welcome us. No trashcans in sight. At least they try to keep it all in one area, no?

Can you spot the Spaniard? Hint: He's flashing a peace sign and wearing a tight, long-sleeved sweater. European niƱos have flair.

B's teacher, Miss Claudia (on the right).

Discussing meteor rocks. I was beginning to lose consciousness by this point.

The making of fossils was the only exciting part.

Despite the yawn-fest, hearing B speak Mexican-accented Spanglish with his amigos made the trip. He'll be fluent in no time. So jealous.

B, have I told you yet today how much I love you?

I do.

Bryson is amazing! what a bright kiddo. what a field trip--what ever happened to the zoo??
B is such a handsome boy. Despite the boring trip ;) hearing little children speak spanish is so sweet. it's like music to my ears.
tainted love...classic. duffy...even better. love her voice. what a fun combination.
I love his little expressions--innocent and mischievous all at the same time....
you should get a mother-of-the-year award for enduring a whole day devoted to rocks (and not even the shiny gemstones that are sold at Tiffany's!)
miss you guys
Friend of Erin (+ Fox) = friend of mine.
Even if I'm going to have nightmares for the next month about reverse-births. Seriously?! I still wake up in a sweat over the video they made us watch in 12th grade Sex Ed...
All the trash is one place is very nice, believe me.
Also very jealous of the Spanish progress. Good job B.
Love it. And I can TOTALLY see the whole Mexican birth thing. They seem to be very proud of the human body down here...if you know what I mean! I seriously missed you guys this week!
Now your job is to keep speaking Spanish to your kids when you get back in the States, or they'll have to say like I do "My parents tell me I used to be fluent in Spanish..."
