And this is just a small fraction of the ridonkulous amount of plastic in this home.

In snapping these pics, I've realized that toys with eyes creep me out up close.
However, bunkered down with three crazy babes and nowhere to go just might prove to be a little more disastrous than a novel virus. So in that case, just kill me now.
We've already had a few incidences involving Mom locking herself in the bedroom for an undetermined amount of time and it's only Day Three of the quarantine. On the upside, when little boys know they're in trouble, they draw cute little cards like this and slip it under the door to weasel their way back into Mom's good graces:

What could he have possibly done, you ask? Let's just say he's lucky I sacrificed my body in previously unimaginable ways to bring him into this world.

Are we having fun yet? Kris and I are debating and trying to guess where this all is going. Does he leave now? Is it going to get worse? Will he be able to get out of Mexico in time for the baby?
Part of me says "c'mon, 1000+ sick 100+ dead in a city and metro area of over 25 million...that's nothing" but another part of me says "when you rarely see people wash their hands in public restrooms and you have to tell your maid not to use the dish towel to clean up spills on the floor and then hang the towel back up...we are dealing with a serious lack of hygiene situation here that is going to only stoke the fire." Argh! Now I really want to know what I can bring back to you after you've gone through all of this!
so glad i can talk to you and hear your resilient voice, knowing you're safe.
and also, that's the prettiest pile of ugly plastic toys i've ever seen. nice photography, noe : ) seriously, it looks so pretty and colorful, even the tree hugger in andy might forget that he doesn't like toys'r'us for a second.
Thank goodness for Clorax wipes. =)
I'm glad you're staying safe! I can't imagine trying to disinfect all our toys!? I just heard about the earthquake too. I hope that you are all okay after that as well. Mexico is a dangerous place to live!:)
Yay for disinfectant! When you are done, do you want to come to my house? Once again, you are setting a good example for me! LOVE the card!
The one thing that comes to mind is that Clorox commercial where the lady mixes Clorox and water to soak baby bottles, toys, and pretty much everything else. Maybe you should just give everything a nice, long, hot Clorox bath. Heck, that almost sounds good enough to soak myself in. Good to hear you are still sane so far. ;o)
Yikes! I can't believe you're in the thick of this thing. I would lose my mind too if I couldn't leave my house, but....stay strong! Don't go outside! How cute that he made you that little note. It has too melt your heart a little!
Are you seriously in lock down? If so, I"m SOOOO sorry. Do you think a can of lysol counts as a liquid on an airplane? I'm flying this week and we aren't touching anything. Oh, and that reminds me, I need to fix the lock on our bedroom door.
glad to see fort on girding up its loins. i kind of love that you are spinning 'do the panic.' i'm vibing good health to you all right... now. xo.
I've sort of had a place in my heart these last few days for my friends' friend... who is you. Here's to good health for you & yours. My dad is a dentist. Should he ship you a box of face masks?
