As for Luke... he's my lone ranger, a guy that beats to his own, very exuberant drum. Two days ago he found a rather long earthworm and named him Tommy. He put him in a bucket with some grass and dirt and carried Tommy around with him all morning long. He was ecstatic over his find. "What does Tommy like to do?" he asked. "I don't know," I said. "What do you think?" "Uh, crawl and wiggle and eat dirt," he replied. So then he let his earthworm out to get some exercise.
But maybe the back porch wasn't the best spot as Tommy eventually wiggled his way through a crack...
Luke wandered around the rest of the day with slumped shoulders and a sad face, repeating over and over, "Tommy all gone. I so sad."

What a good big brother Bryson is. That is so cute about Luke. Sorry his worm got away!
loooooooove it. mm i love your kids.
I absolutely think that your kids are the cutest things!!! We want to keep hearing all the funny stories that happen when you move!
Bryson is so cute with Bode too. He always wants to sit by him and make sure he is happy in the car.
I love them! Never met them, but love them. I hope Luke can learn to move on, even without tommy.
Bryson's so nurturing. He took such good care of Shannon when she was there...kind of like a babysitter. I think Shannon's going to be the same way. Such is a characteristic of the oldest child...we both know it all too well.
For a second I thought Luke's earthworm was a snake. I bet you thought the same thing, knowing your history in Houston.
What a cute little boy. My boys won't even touch a worm. Neither will I.
