Better Days

Not a good morning. Tantrums were thrown, cars were heaved across the room, voices were raised and one bottom got spanked. That's it. That's all I wanted to say. And yes, I need more patience.

On another note, the other day I took Bryson with me to run some errands. We were running out of the grocery store when it started raining hard, but we could still see a small patch of blue and the sun shining through in one corner of the sky. As we hurried to put the groceries in the car and get in, I told Bryson that when the sky is raining and the sun is shining at the same time that sometimes we see rainbows. And then I told him rainbows were Heavenly Father's way of telling us that He is thinking of us and letting us know how much He loves us. As we got in the car, I told him to look around and see if he saw any rainbows... none. Kept driving. Still none. "I guess Heavenly Father doesn't love us, Mom." Oh, no, I thought. Please, Heavenly Father! Then we turned a corner in the road...

"Mom, look! A rainbow! Heavenly Father DOES love us!" Yes, he does, Bryson.

I love your blog! Its so fun to hear about your family. And I feel your pain with tantrums, I only have one but I still don't understand who takes over our little boys mind and body when he gets mad and yells NO! But this to shall pass right? Tell me right- other wise we are stopping at two kids! Just kidding! Love you and the family!
