teotihuacan... revisited

We have been home bound this week with flu-like symptoms. B has suffered the worst of it, and unfortunately it looks like M is just starting the uphill battle. She barely had enough energy today for her daily request: "My 'lil pohwee?" For the uninitiated, that would be her asking for the "My Little Pony" movie for the umpteenth time. And she's persistent. Like last Sunday when she cried in Nursery for two solid hours. But more on that another time. Her sheer force of willpower deserves its own post.

Back to the subject at hand... that's right, basically I have nothing to blog about this week. Except that I came across these pics while sifting through my Picasa albums. These are back when Danielle, Matt and Audrey came to visit last November and I never blogged about it then. So now seems as good a time as any...

Weekend BFFs.


There are a few reasons why the following picture makes me smile: Danielle's pink hairband, B's Star Wars backpack, and Bruce's crocks. This is why Matt is special.


"'S almos' free!" said the man in his thick, raspy Mexican accent. Did you catch that, Matt? That little trinket is almost free. And this is why Bruce always gets suckered into buying so many souvenirs down at Teotihuacan.

And this was a day (one of the many instances) when we lost little L. We finally spotted the sneaky escape artist in the location below. Kind of like "Where's Waldo?" but scarier than the pages with the fighting monks and the dark hooded dudes with invisible faces. Maybe even scarier than the land of the Nasty Nasties. Waldo-fans, are you with me?
