Me: "L, do you need to use the potty?"
L: "Uh... nope. No thanks."
Me: "Really? Then what's on your pants?"
L: "Um... nothing. Nevermind. S'okay, Mom. S'only water. I promise."
That is some strategically placed water.
When people ask me for potty training advice, I just don't know what to tell them.

That is so Courtney too! "It's okay Mom, it's just a little water. I promise. I don't need to go." Yeah, right. You can feel better though because L isn't even 4 yet and Courtney's almost 6! Great pics!
He's not potty trained, but he's a quick thinker. In the long run, that will come in handy.
