Yesterday this guy pooped in our front yard. A neighbor witnessed the incident from a distance. B ran in to tell me the news with an incredulous look on his face, "Mom! Guess what! Lukie pooped! In the grass!" I could tell he was torn between feelings of disgust at the inappropriateness of it all and also a little bit of awe that his brother would do such a thing. I heard all this with quiet horror and ran outside to catch the culprit. And there was the neighbor, witnessing from a distance and too far for me to say anything to. She was trying not to look, but I'm fairly certain she saw the whole thing. Then again, what would I have said? "Sorry you had to see that"... "boys will be boys"? In any case, there was discussion about how only doggies poop in the grass and little boys should poop in the potty.

that is awesome! Luke is the man! too bad pete wasn't there b/c he'd definitely taken some photos. you poor grass - Bryson pee and now Luke's poop.
Well, he is not alone! Gianluca's done that too. I think these kinds of stories are great because we have good amo to embarass our kids to death when they are teenagers... well, I guess boys might be proud of that one!
sherm, i think your dad got a pic of luke peeing in the grass the other day. there are so many pics out there of those two boys taking care of business in our front yard, it's unreal. not taken by me, of course...
...and anyway, i should only be so grateful that it wasn't in his pants this time. yes, very grateful.
haha I love it. I can just imagine your neighbor's expression after the incident....I miss those little guys--but maybe it's a good thing Caleb wasn't a witness to that particular event....
Daniel did the same thing as a boy and we would run into the house screaming "Ewww!" Hopefully that was your first and last experience. If not, it is an organic fertilizer.
