Six years ago, Bruce and I were still kid-less (although pregnant with Bryson) and were living in Charlottesville, Virginia. Bruce was going through the YMP program with E&Y and getting his MAC (Masters of Accountancy). There were nine BYU graduates during that first year of the program! Considering there were only like 60 first-year students, that was a pretty big percentage. And, of course, they were all married. Mostly newlyweds. I think there was like one non-Mormon married couple. We had an awesome time hanging out with those guys. We ate a lot of Sunday dinners together, played a lot of Speed Uno. That sounds pretty lame when I type that out. Six years later, we all have kids. And some of us have moved to Houston!

And we're still pretty lame. Here we are rockin' out to the video game Rock Band. Totally addictive. And I only just noticed Makenna crying there in the corner of this picture. We're completely oblivious. That's hilarious.

Houston friends, get ready for this spunky chic to rock your world when she gets here in August. She's a nutcase. But she's also the bestest friend. She (along with our friend, Jennilyn) threw me the cutest baby shower when I was pregnant with Bryson. She'll laugh your socks off with the outrageous things she says. And she also likes to throw balls at her kids to get them to cheer up. She's a former high school cheerleader from Idaho. I think that pretty much says it all. I love you, Kristen.
