Six hours later, she was sending me a report on how rattlesnakes do, in fact, like to hang out in blue bonnet fields. There's a Sunday School lesson in this... anyway, yay for blue bonnets and once-in-a-lifetime experiences! Because we are never doing pictures in blue bonnets again. Ever.
On a more positive note, real friends cut your baby's hair when you're too lazy to do it yourself. Even when they're like 14 weeks pregnant and wanting to vomit all over your baby while he's screaming bloody murder and their own 18-month-old is crying in proxy anger in the background over cut hairs. You're a good one, K.

Revive this blog...please. I'd really love more of your funny stories and insights and more photos of the children. More of Nate!
See you this week!
I may or may not overuse the word "ridiculous". Oops! But EZ will never again be an almost-still-a-baby in Texas bluebonnets, so it was worth the fear & anxiety + potential life-threatening danger, no? I think so.
It makes me so happy when you blog.
k, i agree. makes me so happy when she blogs. the world is lacking when you don't put your voice out there--i miss it when i'm not with you : (((
also, i use the words "ridiculous" and "seriously" far too frequently.
AND it was worth it. love these pictures!!!!!
you and the blue bonnets of texas are GORGEOUS, and ez will never be so small again : ((((((
well those are gorgeous pictures. whenever kathryn pulls out her big daddy camera, i usually just shut up and go along because she knows how to make the magic happen.
