I did the 5K and signed my kids up for the 1K Fun Run on Thanksgiving Day. There was some anxiety from the boys race day morning leading up to it... right up until the bell rang, but then they were off. M was super pumped to run, though. Until the bell rang, and then she just wanted to find Daddy and stay with him. So she didn't end up finishing the race, which equated to no medal and she was a little heartbroken the rest of the day. Next time, M!
EZ and Bruce were good sports and spectators, despite the chill and then Bruce held his annual turkey bowl. He couldn't walk the next day. I massaged his legs, and I think he teared up. He doesn't want to believe we're getting old. Believe it, babe.
teaching the younglings your fanatical running ways... you're a good momma. and they look like they mean business. it would take fox a week to run a 1k. easily distracted.

love! Cute little runners. I feel for M. My mom tried to get me to run those all the time as a little kid, I always flaked. Next time! Cute. fam.
Old my butt. You guys are in the fit marathon running PRIME of your LIFE. Enjoy it. And don't even START throwing around the aging issue.
